On June 24, 2026, two earthquakes measuring 7.2 and 7.5 struck Venezuela. The strongest the country has experienced since 1900. More than 2,200 people died, thousands were injured, and Dr. Domingo Luciani Hospital, in Petare, Caracas, ran out of supplies to treat them.

Then Georgina Rodríguez appeared, 32 years old, Cristiano Ronaldo’s partner. Without press conferences or grand announcements, she sent five emergency stretchers directly to that overwhelmed hospital.

And she didn’t stop there: she contributed 50,000 euros to World Central Kitchen, chef José Andrés’s NGO that distributes hot meals among those affected.

You can have millions of followers and use them only to show your life. Or you can use them to make sure a stretcher arrives on time. Georgina chose the latter, and in the midst of an entire country’s pain, that gesture felt like a breath of relief. 🤍
