Nina Guimerá, an influencer who organizes donations for Venezuela from Atlanta, Georgia, opened more than 20 boxes and couldn’t believe what she found: dirty, torn, stained clothes, and even expired medications mixed in with what people sent with good intentions.

In a video that is already dividing opinions, she was direct: “You give with love, not because it was left over”. She explained that the people sorting those boxes are volunteers, people who give their time, and that checking each garment one by one or filtering out expired bottles should not be part of their job. She only asked for one thing: donate what you yourself would accept receiving.

Her complaint struck a sensitive chord. For many, it is a necessary call for awareness; for others, any help counts regardless of its condition. You, what would you say to someone who donates just to get it over with?
