Crystal Bassette was just 16 years old when she became pregnant and left North Carolina for Hollywood.
That’s where it all began: first she danced in nightclubs, then a producer recruited her for the adult film industry.
Under the name ‘Nadia Hilton,’ she starred in around 100 films and came to earn 30.000 dollars a month, an amount that supported a life of luxury but also of emptiness.
In May 2014, a car accident nearly cost her her life, and an abusive relationship finally broke what was left of her.
There she met David Bassette, now her husband, who brought her closer to the Christian faith. She trained as a legal assistant, then as a counselor and pastor, and today she leads a church in Fulton, New York, alongside David.
