Kristin Cavallari, 39, said it bluntly on Emma Grede’s podcast: her children Camden (13), Jaxon (12), and Saylor (10) fly economy class while she travels first class.

For her, it is a lesson in hard work: she says her children washed windows and trash cans last summer to earn their own money, and that not everything is handed to them even though the family lives comfortably.

Part of the public applauds her for not raising spoiled children. Another accuses her of humiliating her own children over a comfort she allows herself. Is it discipline or selfishness by another name?
