Spanish industrial designer Lucía created Senntia (@senntia.jewelry), a project that aims to change the way glucose sensors are seen and turn them into accessories people will enjoy wearing. It all began as a university project and ended up becoming something much bigger: designing, 3D printing, sanding, painting, and experimenting until she found a way to make these medical devices feel like part of someone’s personal style.

““Although I’ve always enjoyed designing and making things, I never imagined I’d end up creating my own brand”,” says the young woman. Although she still doesn’t know how far Senntia will go or whether she’ll ever manage to establish it as a brand, she’s clear that she wants to try and share with others the process of turning an idea into something real.
