He did so, he said, out of “deep distrust” of the vaccine and out of fear and uncertainty. The Lucerne Public Prosecutor’s Office is already investigating Xhaka and a doctor from the city over the alleged falsification.
A crime that in Switzerland can cost up to 5 years in prison. The Swiss Football Association has already left him out of the next Nations League, although no one is yet talking about him losing the captaincy.
