It has the same face as someone who has just heard you make a terrible decision and no longer even thinks about arguing with you 😂.
The green vine snake is known for that very particular look which, from certain angles, seems to be judging absolutely everything you do. But behind that expression is an animal that is much calmer than its face might suggest.
These arboreal snakes live mainly in Asia and spend much of their time motionless among branches and leaves. Their slender green bodies allow them to blend in with the vegetation and go practically unnoticed.
Although they can bite when they feel threatened, they normally prefer to remain still and rely on their camouflage rather than confront whatever is in front of them.
The rest is done by their eyes and our imagination, because it is probably just observing its surroundings… but that face definitely seems to say: “I expected more from you”.
