Gypsy-Rose Blanchard is devastated. 💔
Her ex-fiancé, Ken Urker, was found dead at his home in Raceland, Louisiana, on October 1, the same day he turned 34. She had written him “Happy birthday” and never received a reply. His brother Dylan found him when they were heading out to dinner to celebrate.
In her statement, Gypsy-Rose called him “my soulmate and my guiding thread, a connection that time, distance, and even death can never erase”. She said Ken endured an “unimaginable level of public scrutiny” and “relentless cyberbullying” that had a “profound impact” on him. “The cruelty directed at him is something no human being should ever have to endure”, she wrote.
And she made a promise to her 21-month-old daughter Aurora: that she would grow up knowing how deeply her father loved her and who he was beyond what strangers on the internet said. 🕊️
The Lafourche Sheriff’s Office is continuing its investigation into his death.
