Michel Praddo didn’t stop at the horns.

This 50-year-old Brazilian, known on social media as ‘Diabão’, recently posted a video showing his hands bandaged over the fingers that are no longer there: the little and ring fingers on each hand. He has three left: the thumb, index finger, and middle finger. He calls it ‘The Claws’, a project he started in 2023, when he had part of his fingers amputated for the first time.

Now he has completed it. Alongside the video, he wrote that he had found his balance again, thanks to his muse and body modification artist.

This isn’t an isolated oddity, but the continuation of a transformation that has been going on for years. Originally from Praia Grande, near São Paulo, he estimates that he has undergone more than 60 procedures and that around 85% of his skin is covered in ink. He has also filed down his teeth and cut his ears to complete his look. Today, he holds the Guinness World Record for the most subdermal implants in the shape of horns on the head.

His more than 300,000 Instagram followers couldn’t agree. Some celebrated the result: ‘Spectacular’, ‘I love it’. Others didn’t understand it: ‘It makes no sense to do something like that’. And one summed up what many were thinking: ‘I can’t imagine life without my fingers’.
