A young man went viral on social media after being seen transporting his dog inside a wheeled cooler. Although many initially thought it was a strange scene, the explanation ended up moving thousands of people.
According to those who shared the story, the owner explained that the pavement was so hot it could burn his pet’s paw pads, so he decided to carry it inside the cooler to protect its paws as they traveled around the city. The image quickly spread across the internet and was celebrated by thousands of users as a show of affection for his four-legged companion.

Beyond the curiosity of the transportation method, veterinarians warn that asphalt can reach temperatures far higher than the air on hot days. When that happens, dogs’ paw pads can suffer burns in just a few seconds. A simple way to check is to place the back of your hand on the pavement for five seconds: if it is too hot for a person, it will also be too hot for a dog.
That is why specialists recommend taking pets for walks during the early morning hours or at sunset, always looking for shaded areas and avoiding surfaces that retain a lot of heat.

What seemed like an eccentricity to some ended up becoming a reminder that, when it comes to caring for those who cannot speak, sometimes the strangest gestures are also the most responsible.
