Asad Hussain, 36, met his ex-girlfriend in Cheadle, England, in April 2024. They dated for a few weeks. When she ended the relationship, he would not accept it: he even rang her doorbell for two hours straight just because a friend was visiting her, until a neighbor called the police.
What came next was worse. Hussain created a fake Tinder account using her photos and began messaging strangers describing ‘rape fantasies,’ pretending to be his victim. He used separate phones, changed his car’s license plate, and even removed his details from public records to avoid being caught. Meanwhile, at least 18 men showed up at this woman’s door believing she was waiting for them with those fantasies.
Cheshire Police described it as one of the most disturbing stalking cases they have investigated. Hussain was arrested in October 2024 on the M6 motorway and, after a nine-day trial, a Chester court sentenced him to 8 years in prison and imposed a 15-year restraining order that also protects the victim’s daughters. She said something that sums it all up: her home, her safe space, was violated by a story he completely invented.
