They thought the shoot would turn out epic… and it turned out mythological. A couple took their engagement photos next to a horse, but in one of the images the angle betrayed the bride: the animal’s body ended up right behind her and it looked like her dress ended in four legs.
The idea was romantic, elegant, the kind of photos you later imagine framed in the house. She on top of the horse, him holding her hand, all very movie-like… until the internet saw something else.
Because of course, as soon as the image started circulating, many didn’t see a bride posing with her partner, but rather some kind of bridal centaur. And once you see it, there’s no going back.
So the shoot that promised to look dreamy ended up becoming perfect meme material. Not because the photo was bad, but because the timing, the dress, and the horse created their own unexpected collaboration.
Although, to be fair, both the bride and groom and the photographer were delighted with the result. And well… not everyone can say their engagement photos ended up with the vibe of a mythological creature 😂
