One hand over another. That’s what a client asked tattoo artist Mrscrimsan for.
The design shows a grandmother’s hand holding her granddaughter’s, tattooed right above the young woman’s hand. The idea was simple and full of meaning: no matter what happened, her grandmother would always be there, holding her hand, and the two of them would always stay hand in hand.
Mrscrimsan shared the result on social media, and the tattoo soon sparked a flood of comments. For many, it’s a tender gesture, a way of keeping a grandmother’s love close to the skin. For others, though, seeing someone else’s hand drawn over their own seems strange.
Because some memories are kept in a photo, while others are chosen to be worn. What do you see: a tribute or something strange?
