Brendan Ryan, a 22-year-old from Long Island, won 2 gold medals in a national taekwondo competition and was recognized as one of the tournament’s best athletes. He competed in the adaptive division and stood out both in the forms category and in a nunchaku presentation.
His journey began about 7 years ago at Champions Martial Arts, inspired by movies and characters such as Power Rangers and Captain Marvel. What started as a sports activity ended up becoming discipline, confidence, and a way to show everything he could achieve.
Now his dream is to become an instructor and help others in the same place where he trained. Brendan does not just want to keep winning medals. He wants to stand in front of a class and show that confidence is also taught by example.
