Alexis is 21 years old and has already lost count of his own misfortunes.
He is a bricklayer in Esperanza, Santa Fe, and some time ago he fell from the third floor: he broke his elbow, lost teeth, and split his head open. Then a nail pierced his hand. And as if that weren’t enough, he was in a motorcycle accident and fractured his femur into three parts. He had been hospitalized at Hospital Cullen for 20 days, already operated on and about to be discharged, waiting in a wheelchair in the emergency room.
That’s when a police cruiser lost control while pulling away, after having been stopped because of a fight, and ran him over. The impact shifted the screws in his leg, and now he needs another surgery. Alexis took it with humor and summed it up in a phrase that has already gone viral: “I have no lives left” 😅
