Six days. No water. No food. Trapped in total darkness inside a metal container crossing the ocean. 🌊
It all started as a game. The 15-year-old boy, originally from Bangladesh, hid inside a container at the port of Chattogram while playing hide-and-seek with his friends. For reasons that are still not entirely clear, the door ended up sealed and he could not get out. The container departed. And so, without anyone looking for him inside, a journey of nearly 3,000 kilometers began.
It was the sound of his banging against the walls that alerted workers at Klang port, in Malaysia, when they opened the container six days later. They found him weak, dehydrated, and exhausted, but alive. 🙏 Today he is stable in a hospital in the port city, under medical care and police watch. The port workers, the doctors, entire social media all agree on the same thing: it is a miracle that this boy is still here. ✨
