At 71, Guillermo Gigena has a physique that many people would find hard to believe belongs to someone his age. The bodybuilder from Córdoba began weight training when he was just 15 and, more than five decades later, continues lifting weights and competing.

His consistency has just brought him new achievements: in August 2026, he became the Argentine and South American bodybuilding champion in his category, titles he won in Rosario. Gigena maintains a Monday-to-Friday training routine and, in addition, continues working at a bank, showing that his passion for sports coexists with his professional life.

More than 50 years after he began, he continues training with the same discipline. And his story is a reminder that age can change many things, but not necessarily the desire to keep taking care of yourself, training, and improving.
