Everyone came back. Except him.

Domingo Atanacio Quirino is 50 years old, a farmer and forestry worker in the ejido El Balcón, in the Sierra de Guerrero. According to Fábrica de Periodismo, he spent 22 days kidnapped alongside other farmworkers. On October 15, six of them appeared alive: Everardo, 17; Fidel, 54; Isidro, 32; Eulises, 26; José, 24; and Nicolás, 74. According to the same outlet, they had sores, signs of violence, and severe dehydration. Domingo was not among them.

His underage son recorded a video. He says his dad is the only one still missing, that he is a farmer, and that “he isn’t a troublemaker”. He asks them to let him know where his dad is so he can go get him, and to bring him back alive, as they brought back the others. “They say he’s sick, bring him back to me, please, alive”, he pleads in the message, according to Sin Embargo.

The residents of El Balcón demanded that the authorities continue searching for him. As of October 20, there was no public information about his whereabouts.
