Arman Tsarukyan held nothing back on Ariel Helwani’s show 🎙️ The Armenian claimed that Charles Oliveira canceled the rematch scheduled for UFC 331, using as an excuse the death of Allan Nascimento, his Chute Boxe training partner, who was only 34 years old. But according to Tsarukyan, something does not add up: just three or four days after that loss, Oliveira was already training and recording livestreams on social media.
The UFC did not wait for a response and confirmed Tsarukyan against Mauricio Ruffy as the co-main event of UFC 331, on September 19 in Los Ángeles. The Armenian, who already defeated Oliveira by split decision at UFC 300, went further: he believes the Brazilian actually prefers to face Diego Lopes rather than him.
