An unusual case shook Bangkok when police arrested Pittaya Moolin, a 51-year-old fake doctor who performed male cosmetic surgeries in the back seat of a beat-up 90s Toyota Corolla.
The man advertised enlargement injections, circumcisions, and pearl implants on TikTok, charging between 30 and 305 dollars per procedure.
The arrest happened just as the suspect was operating on a client right on the street. When questioned, Moolin admitted he had no training and had learned everything by watching videos on the internet.
He confessed: “I studied it and developed it as a side job to supplement my income”, using unsterilized tools. He now faces up to three years in prison for practicing medicine illegally.
