Luz Marina Guerrero Costa was kneeling in her home in Catia, Caracas, reciting Psalm 91, when the ground began to shake. 🙏

The earthquake on Wednesday, June 24 shook Venezuela with a force that left rubble, fear, and entire families searching for their loved ones. In the midst of the chaos, a wall gave way right beside Luz Marina. It fell. She did not move. “A wall fell beside me and did not touch me, thanks to my God”, she said, visibly shaken, with a trembling voice and bright eyes. 😢

Her testimony spread across social media like water after the storm: fast, inevitable, and necessary. While rescue teams continued working to pull people trapped under the rubble, thousands of Venezuelans found in this woman’s words a small refuge of hope. Today, an entire country lifts up a single prayer. 🇻🇪❤️
