But as the worker walked away, the supposed customer took the chance to do something no one expected. Under the pretext of filling his water bottle, he snuck his hand into the tip jar and took all the money he found. A gesture that seemed like a simple act of carelessness and ended up revealing his true intentions.
The man noticed the robbery immediately and decided to confront him. To him, it wasn’t just as a small sum of money: it was their daily work and wages. The man admitted to his misdeed but he only gave back a part of his loot, which enraged the worker who ended up calling the police.
Seeing himself cornered, the thief panicked and ended up pulling out the content of his pockets, but the situation had already escalated. With such tension, both men started throwing hands, violently struggling with each other. The thief took his chance in a moment of distraction to flee the scene, evading authorities.
