Six trusted no one.
He lived on the streets of Baja California with skin so damaged and fur so matted that he could barely be called a survivor. When the @expedition.ola team found him and tried to approach, Six did the only thing he knew how to do: run away. Years on the streets had taught him that human hands brought nothing good.
But they did not give up. They returned the next day. And the day after that. And the day after that. Every day they brought food, fresh water, and the medication his skin urgently needed, without approaching any closer than Six allowed, without rushing what only time could build: real trust.
On the sixth day, something changed. Six approached on his own and allowed himself to join the group’s pack of rescued dogs. The video showing him running along the beach, free and unafraid, is proof that sometimes saving a life is not about acting quickly, but about staying long enough.
