Richie the Barber has once again drawn attention with a new modification to his face, but this time there is a particularly striking detail: the man who once said that the Devil had told him to get his signature clown transformation now has the word “Jesus” tattooed on his forehead.
Richie became known for completely transforming his face with tattoos inspired by clown makeup: blue skin, a huge smile, details around the eyes, and other elements that turned his appearance into one of his defining features.
In an interview published by Inked, he explained that his transformation was related to his love of clowns, his “inner child”, and the idea of spreading joy. He even said that he decided to tattoo the smile after looking at himself in the mirror and thinking that he wanted to always wear that expression on his face.
But in a recent video, Richie gives a much more striking version of the origin of his transformation: he claims that the Devil told him he had to get tattooed like a clown.
Now, years later, he appeared with a new tattoo that completely changes the visual message: “JESUS” written in large letters across his forehead.
The contrast did not go unnoticed. After spending years building an image associated with the clown character and speaking publicly about the origin of his tattoos, Richie now appears to have added a religious reference that is impossible to ignore.
