In 2000, Tyrel Wolfe, a 7-year-old from Idaho, put his toys, school supplies, and a photo of himself dressed as a cowboy into a cardboard box. He had no idea where it would end up. 🤠

It reached Joana Marchan, an 8-year-old girl in the Philippines. She kept that photo for more than ten years, even when her thank-you letter was lost along the way. In 2011, Joana looked for him on Facebook and sent him a friend request. Tyrel ignored her… until 2013, when he finally replied. When Joana mentioned the cowboy photo and the Christmas box, he couldn’t believe it. 😲

What started as a Christmas gift ended in a wedding. Tyrel traveled to the Philippines, they fell in love, and in October 2014 they got married at the family ranch in Idaho. Who says gifts don’t change lives? 💕
