William Kidd, 27, a resident of Stockport, kept his own semen in a bottle and sprayed it on unknown women while they were shopping. It was not an isolated incident: between May and September 2025 he repeated the behavior at least five times, deliberately traveling to stores in two counties, Cheshire and Greater Manchester, to choose his victims.
The forensic analysis left no room for doubt: the substance sprayed on the women’s heads and backs was Kidd’s semen. Security cameras captured him in four of the attacks. His phone, seized after his arrest in October 2025, contained covert recordings of several victims, including a woman whom he filmed up her skirt while she pushed a cart with her baby, and another whom he followed through a store while she shopped with her five-year-old daughter.
On May 29, 2026, Manchester Crown Court sentenced him to four years in prison. Detective Sergeant Steven Kaminski, in charge of the investigation, described the behavior as a systematic pattern that required coordination between the police forces of both counties to dismantle.
