The man was leaning against a sports car with all the confidence of someone expecting to impress anyone who walked by. When he saw a girl approaching, he thought the plan was working and even started flirting with her, convinced that she had noticed him because of the vehicle.
She, on the other hand, seemed to be enjoying something else. While the guy was trying to look cool, the young woman couldn’t help laughing and kept walking toward him with a calmness that he surely interpreted as a good sign.
What he didn’t know was that she was walking toward the car, not him.
Little by little she closed the distance, until she pulled some keys out of her pocket. Without saying much, she unlocked the sports car, opened the door, and made it clear that the real owner was her.
In a matter of seconds, the man went from mysterious heartthrob to just another accessory of the vehicle in question. She got into the car, and he stayed there, trying to understand at what point the scene had changed so much.
And of course, the video went viral because it had all the ingredients for the internet: someone trying to show off, a girl who played along without losing her smile, and an ending where the keys ended up saying much more than any attempt at flirting.
