Italian influencer Marc Bavaro, known on social media as Dottor Bavaro, sparked a wave of criticism after posting a video walking down the street alongside a woman wearing a transparent outfit and a leash around her neck, while he held the other end as if he were walking a dog.
The scene quickly caught the attention of the people around them, but the internet reacted even worse. Many accused the influencer of publicly humiliating the girl and turning her into “an accessory” just to get attention on social media.
And of course, the criticism was not just aimed at him. There were also comments against the woman for agreeing to take part in something like that, although others argued that both are adults and probably knew perfectly well what they were doing.
But the video kept escalating because several users started directly attacking Marc Bavaro’s appearance, saying that “before treating a woman like that he should look in the mirror”. In other words, the post ended up turning into a mix of outrage, mockery, and debate about the limits of viral content.
Meanwhile, the influencer achieved exactly what many believe he had wanted from the beginning: for everyone to talk about the video.
