Sebastian Vettel was the absolute king of Formula 1. Four consecutive titles between 2010 and 2013, all with Red Bull, and the record of being the youngest champion in history at just 23 years old.

In 2022, he got out of the car for good. And instead of staying close to the spotlight, he moved with his wife Hanna Prater and their three children to a farm in Switzerland.
There, he decided to enroll in an agriculture course at the Pfäffikon Vocational Training Center, to learn how to manage his own land like any farmer in the area.

“I am the biggest hypocrite there is when I talk about environmental issues, and I have left a very large footprint. Should I feel bad about it? We will not solve the problem with shame, but by facing it and looking for solutions”.
In April 2026, he received The Perfect World Foundation’s Environmental Defender of the Year award in Gothenburg.
The same man who raced at more than 300 km/h in polluting, contaminating machines now finds his peace planting and caring for the land. “I am fascinated”, he said about this new life.
