Kyle Bevan was serving a life sentence at Wakefield Prison, England, for killing Lola James, the two-year-old daughter of his then-partner.
In November 2025, three inmates entered his cell with a silent plan. Lee Newell, Mark Fellows and David Taylor attacked him with an improvised weapon and inflicted more than 25 stab wounds. When they were finished, they arranged the body on the bed, as if they wanted to leave a scene as calculated as the crime that had prompted the attack.
The subsequent investigation determined that the three had acted in a coordinated manner. A court found them guilty of murder and sentenced them to whole-life orders, the most severe sentence in the British criminal justice system, with no possibility of release.
