After Norway’s elimination against England in the quarterfinals of the 2026 World Cup, Erling Haaland was at the center of a scene that moved fans.

Instead of quickly heading to the locker room, the striker remained in the stands for hours, thanking those who supported the national team throughout the tournament.

Haaland took photos, signed autographs, and spent time comforting fans, many of whom were visibly emotional over the defeat.

He was the last Norwegian player to leave the stadium, a gesture of closeness and gratitude that quickly went viral and once again demonstrated the strong bond he maintains with the fans.
