Cole Palmer holds nothing back, not even with his friends. In the middle of preseason ahead of the 2026/27 campaign, the Chelsea forward spoke about his iconic goal celebration, one that has already become his trademark, and about what will happen now that Morgan Rogers, his England teammate and close friend, has joined the club from Aston Villa.
The reason for the joke is that Rogers celebrates his goals exactly like Palmer. Laughing, the Blues’ No. 10 recalled that he registered the gesture as his personal trademark and joked that if his new teammate dares to repeat it, he will end up with the police knocking on his door.
The joke did not end there. Palmer wrapped up the conversation by saying that, rather than fighting over the gesture, they will probably end up celebrating together in the same way every time they score. A friendship that promises mischief on and off the pitch this season at Stamford Bridge.
