Now I understand why I’ve been finding my coworkers more attractive lately.
Because yes, there are some people whose internet access needs to be taken away soon, because way too many absurd theories with no scientific basis go viral.

The ultra-conservative influencer, Ian Miles Cheong, has become the laughingstock of the world after misinterpreting a study.
The research, conducted in the Netherlands, analyzed 81 headphone brands, reviewing the toxic substances found in these products.

And the conclusion was very simple: there is no immediate danger, but chronic exposure to certain compounds could pose long-term risks to public health, such as some types of cancer, reproductive problems, and chronic illnesses. At no point was there any conclusion about sexual orientation.

Ian Miles Cheong, on the other hand, read something else and said that headphones were making you gay, claiming that the devices contained endocrine-disrupting chemicals “that mimic hormones” and that could cause “feminization in men”.

It didn’t take people long to realize that Ian is dumber than a doorknob, so they commented on his post mocking his embarrassing manipulation of the results.
