Henry Cavill doesn’t pretend to be a gamer just to look good in an interview. The actor who played Geralt in The Witcher and Superman on the big screen prefers staying in front of his PC rather than going out partying, and he has said so for years without any shame.

To get into Geralt’s skin, he immersed himself so deeply in the video games that he finished The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt —about 100 hours of story— not once, but twice in full. With Total War: Warhammer II he went even further: he played it about six times, and his devotion became so well known that Creative Assembly, the studio behind the game, invited him to lend his voice to an elf character in downloadable content.

In 2020 he posted an almost six-minute video on Instagram assembling a high-end gaming PC from scratch, complete with a Ryzen 9 processor and RGB lights. It went viral instantly. And as if anything else were needed to confirm his fandom, he also paints Warhammer miniatures in his free time. 🎮✨
