Henry Cavill has been here before. 🕶️
In 2005, at just 22 years old, he auditioned to be James Bond. Daniel Craig got the role, and Cavill had to wait two decades to get close to 007’s tuxedo again. Now, at 43, the actor told Heat magazine that it is probably already too late: “I would be considered a little too old for the role of Bond”, he admitted, without bitterness or drama.

But the surprise came afterward. Cavill did not completely close the door on the 007 universe — he merely switched sides. “I would love to be a Bond villain”, he confessed, opening up the fantasy of seeing him on the other side of the gun.
While Denis Villeneuve prepares the new installment with a script by Steven Knight, there is still no name for the next secret agent. Cavill, however, has already made his position clear: if he cannot be the hero, he wants to be the threat. 🎬
