Gala didn’t think twice: for the most important day of her university career, she wanted her dog with her.
The young woman defended her final Psychology thesis at the National University of San Luis in Argentina, with the animal sitting beside her. According to Diario UNO, he remained calm throughout the presentation and showed no signs of restlessness while she presented before the examination committee.
When she shared the video on TikTok, she added a phrase that was equal parts disbelief and happiness: “Can we even believe I defended my thesis with my dog by my side? Grateful for the madness”. Someone asked why she had brought him, and her answer explained everything: “Because he stuck it out with me through my whole degree and is an absolute angel”.
The video warmed the hearts of thousands of users. One wrote to her: “You have a memory to last a lifetime”. Another went even further: “I’m sure he supported you more through the process than any friend did”.
