Carlos Daniel was 27 years old and drove a car via the Bolt app in Asunción. 🚗

One day, his ex blurted out the phrase that changed his life: “You’ll always be a simple Bolt driver”.

Carlos didn’t stay silent or start crying. He packed his bags, crossed half the world, and ended up as a volunteer on the war front in Ukraine.

His mother, not knowing what to believe, reported his disappearance to the Paraguayan Prosecutor’s Office.

His photo appeared in several media outlets as a missing person, while he moved among trenches learning to pilot drones.

Today he earns around US$3.200 a month, has accommodation and food paid for, and claims there are around 75 Paraguayans like him working at the front. 💰

For now, he doesn’t plan to return to Paraguay. His ex, unintentionally, gave him the motivation of his life. 😅
