Prakriti Malla is 14 years old and studies in Bhaktapur, Nepal. One day, someone uploaded a photo of one of her school assignments to the internet, and one glance was all it took for thousands of people to stop and look: every letter was the same size, had the same slant and the same spacing, as if a printer had done the work.

But it wasn’t a printer. It was her hand. The image was shared again and again on social media, turning her into one of the most talked-about students, with recognition that spread far beyond her city.

In December 2022, Prakriti once again showed what she is capable of: she handwrote a letter and delivered it to the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Nepal. Her story is a reminder that sometimes, the extraordinary doesn’t come from magical talent, but from patience, discipline and everyday practice.
