Charlotte Booth, a gym enthusiast in the United Kingdom, was looking to achieve the perfect body with a “quick fix” for her buttocks. She underwent a liquid Brazilian butt lift in May 2023, but the cosmetic treatment became the worst mistake she could have made.

She was injected with 200 ml of filler in total. Twelve days later, her backside began to rot from the inside, developing gangrene, sepsis, and necrotic abscesses.

The clinic sent her away without instructions, leaving her with wounds that looked like cuts and causing her to ooze liters of pus. Surgeons had to amputate a piece of her buttock to save her from death.

She did not achieve the perfect body she wanted, but she got something better: staying alive.
