Heroes in scrubs! The moment two doctors ran with newborn babies in their arms to get them to safety during the earthquake in Colombia

The floor shook, and at the Clínica Panamericana in Apartadó, no one had time to think.

Two doctors, amid the panic caused by the earthquake that shook several areas of Colombia, did not run out alone. They took two newborn babies, who were only hours old, in their arms and carried them out of the building before worrying about their own safety. As the walls creaked and the hallways filled with screams and people running, they held firmly onto those two tiny bodies that did not even understand what was happening.

They were not wearing capes, but that morning their scrubs weighed like one. Because real heroism does not always shout or get broadcast live: sometimes it is simply a doctor who decides, without hesitation, that a baby’s life is worth more than their own peace of mind. 🫡❤️
