Salma Hayek is 50 years old and has a phrase that makes half the entertainment industry uncomfortable.
In an interview with DuJour magazine, the Mexican actress said she isn’t afraid of aging in front of the cameras. On the contrary: she says roles improve with age, that she dreams of playing a mother, and that she is excited by the idea of one day playing a grandmother.
She said it bluntly: “how boring it would be to play that [sexy] role for the rest of my life”.
She also talked about why she avoids Botox. She wants to reach 70 with real wrinkles, so that her husband will look at her and think that, although time has passed, the beauty is still there.
