In a video for Vogue’s Beauty Secrets series, posted on February 12, she said the phrase everyone repeated afterward: “Time to be honest, I got lip filler once.” She said she had it done at 18, felt it looked too big, and never tried it again.
According to her, the full-lip effect you see now is pure makeup: a technique she called “optical illusion”, barely lining above the natural edge.
The clarification was meant to nip the rumor in the bud, but it opened another front. In the comments, the question that wouldn’t go away appeared: “How did her lips end up like that?” Many insist that her lips still show signs of poorly dissolved filler, while some took the opportunity to question why Vogue gives so much space to someone known primarily for being her mother’s daughter. Others defend her: she did nothing more than talk about her own body.
