Leah Carrick wants to create content with her face in view. At 22, this mother of two daughters who lives on an island in Canada asks people not to diagnose her because she knows what she has and has undergone surgery more than 3 times to reduce her lower lip.
She says she has a vascular birthmark on her mouth that grew during her childhood and much more during pregnancy. It doesn’t hurt or make it difficult for her to speak. She underwent more than three surgeries to reduce her lower lip, but it grew back; she is considering further procedures, although she stresses that they are not her priority.
She appreciates messages from people with similar conditions, but says her birthmark is only a small part of her and doesn’t stop her from doing anything. “I’m an ordinary girl”, she wrote, quoting Hannah Montana.
