The comments Lamine Yamal made in September 2025 on the Resonancia de Corazón podcast went viral again after the footballer shared how he decided to buy his mother a house: “I bought my mother a house wherever she wanted. I asked her which area and told her: ‘Whichever you want’”. ❤️

For Yamal, the gesture has a special meaning. The Barcelona footballer recalled growing up in an apartment where “the kitchen and bedroom were in the same space”, and now says that one of the things that makes him happiest is being able to give his family a different life: “I see my mother happy, and I see that my brother can have the childhood I would have wanted to have, and that’s what makes me happiest”.

And when he talks about his mother, he doesn’t hold back: “My mother can have anything she wants. To me, she’s my queen, she’s what I love most. She’s everything a child could ask for”. 👑
