Amanda Seyfried is 40 years old and has just said no to a series for a very specific reason.
She said so during a panel moderated by Alec Baldwin at the Hamptons International Film Festival on October 4. The actress explained that she turned down an offer because it had too many sex scenes and she didn’t want to be naked with a stranger.
The curious thing is that she didn’t always think that way. She recalled that kissing scenes used to mean nothing to her: she would arrive on set thinking she was going to kiss someone attractive and, on top of that, she was getting paid for it. “Our jobs are weird, and as we get older, they get weirder”, she summed up.
However, her answer doesn’t necessarily mean she has closed the door for good. The actress left open the possibility that her decision might be different at another time. Do you think she’ll change her mind?
