What was supposed to be one night stretched into several days, and at some point—which no one can reconstruct—the group ended up in Praga, Czech Republic. “I don’t know how we got there”, López confessed through laughter, still without a logical explanation for the jump from one country to another. At Barcelona no one said anything to them: they had just become champions of Europe, and that, according to Maxi, justified everything. He even said that he and Ronaldinho had rooms reserved for each other in one another’s homes, marked with “M11” and “R10”. Friendship on another level. ⚽
