Jude Bellingham scored the two goals that sent England through to the 2026 World Cup semifinals, coming back from 2-1 down against Norway in Miami. It should have been a night of total celebration.

But Thomas Tuchel, the 52-year-old German coach, came out to criticize the team’s performance as soon as the match ended. And Bellingham did not let it slide: he responded in the mixed zone by questioning whether the coach understood how difficult it was to play that match, in those conditions.

It is not the first time they have clashed. The Sun recalled that Tuchel once described the player’s behavior as “disgusting”, a comment he later apologized for, and that last October he left him out of a call-up. Now, with England one match away from the final, on Wednesday at 16:00 in Atlanta against Argentina, the internal rift is once again exposed at the worst possible time. 👀
