“I feel like every year I get diagnosed with something else”, confessed Lili Reinhart, the 29-year-old actress you met in Riverdale, in an interview with Cosmopolitan that revealed what she hid behind the red carpets.
Interstitial cystitis, adenomyosis, endometriosis, and mast cell activation syndrome: that is the list of diagnoses she has accumulated since 2024, when the first symptoms appeared during the filming of a movie in Germany.
Reinhart said that many doctors attributed the pain to anxiety or stress, a problem so common that an endometriosis diagnosis can take up to 10 years to arrive.
In December 2025, she finally had an answer: laparoscopic surgery confirmed the endometriosis.
Today, between physical pain and pressure over her body image, Lili chooses to protect herself: less noise, more self-care, and projects that respect her well-being over her schedule. “It is important to talk about these kinds of illnesses that are often kept silent”.
