Farrah Abraham can’t say a single word.

The 35-year-old former “Teen Mom” star emerged from double-disc jaw surgery with her mouth wired shut and her face so swollen she was almost unrecognizable. For the next two months, she won’t be able to speak, and her diet is limited to liquids she has to drink through a straw. Shortly after the operation, she appeared on her daughter’s TikTok livestream and, since she had no voice, held up a sign: “I had surgery and can’t speak. Thank you for all the gifts”.

Her representative, Chrissy Johnston, told the Daily Mail that things are worse than they look: Farrah is in a lot of pain, physically and mentally exhausted, and has also lost hearing in her right ear. She herself wrote on Instagram Stories that she feels “like Frankenstein” and hopes her face will return to normal in three months.

Her jaw problems have been with her for almost a year, and those around her link them to the trauma of the assault she reported in 2021 involving former mayor Dominic Foppoli, who denied the allegations. According to Johnston, that stress damaged her nervous system. And after going through so much, now she faces yet another ordeal: months without being able to open her mouth to eat or even talk about it.
