But it wasn’t the dress that set social media ablaze. Users began comparing current photos of the 34-year-old actress with images from years ago, and some comments turned cruel: they talked about skin that was too smooth, about a face that—according to them—no longer matched the one she had before. Another went further and asked whether it was a bad Botox application or some medical condition.
Gomez has not responded to those speculations. She is still, in fact, a six-time nominee as a producer and actress for Only Murders in the Building, a fact that many of her critics seem to forget while discussing every millimeter of her face.
